This is done with the modeling paste and acyclic paint.
My concentration is incorporating texture in 2d design.

I have a story that goes along with this painting.
Susan was at home alone one night and kept hearing tapping and knocking coming from upstairs. So finally after listening to it for a while she was so scared she had to find out what it was. She made her way quietly up the stairs and the tapping got louder and louder. The tapping seemed to be coming from the linen closet. The tapping stopped as soon as she was in front of it. She waited to see if it would tap again but then all of a sudden something punched through the green door of the closet and this painting is a representation of the last thing that she saw....
It is acrylic on board with alittle tempera then the towels and sheets are magazine from l.l.bean and Crate&Barrel.

This is an acrylic painting on cardboard of the Taipei 101. This building is actually the tallest in the world because of the needle on top of it. There are many reasons why it is called the Taipei 101. The 101 is the number of floors in the building and every year on 1-01 they have a huge fireworks display that makes the building look like one giant firework.
The problem that I am having with it is it still doesn't look quite as realistic as I would like it to be. And I know the way to do it is to add the floors and windows it but honestly I don't want to paint 101 lines on it. So if anyone has any suggestion of what would give it the effect of floors without painting 101 lines, please let me know.
Also I was thinking once I am done fixing the floor problem I may put fireworks on the outside to make it look like New Years but I'm not sure about that either let me know what you think
thanks jackie

I wanted to make the actual objects look abstract and then make the outside very defined so that then I would have some strong contrast between the inside and outside.
