The Perfect Couple

I remember seeing one of the classes at school do something like this so I wanted to give it a try. It started out that I just was craving out circles in I thought it would be cool if I made it into people so thats how it came to be. Its again acrylic on cardboard.

It is interesting to me that you have brought more of a relief to the assignment and how you mentioned that you were more interested in 3-d. Thank you for adding physical dimension to the works. This concept, esp. for you, is highly encouraged. In fact, do not feel limited at all to drawing or 2-d.

You've always used cardboard really well in your pieces, Jackjack. I like this one because the people appear to be happy on the outside, but their faces are vacant. Sort of like their emotions, feelings, etc, are ~nonexistent~.

This is really interesting. I love how you uesed a piece of cardboard to cover up their faces. It's like there is no "Perfect Couple". I also think you made a good descion on your concentration for AP.
