Five Head Fish Face

This is actually me looking into a spoon. The way that I was sitting made me have a huge forehead and my eyes got really far apart. I thought it was a funny thing to look that and became more entertaining when I painted it. This is acrylic paint on board.

This piece offers the very formal concepts of foreshortening and distortion. These remind me of an M.C. Escher print and a Jan Van Eyck painting titled, "Arnolfini Wedding" (look closely at the mirror in the back) in which the artists render themselves through rounded objects. These concepts could make for some very interesting pieces.
