Right in Front of You

In Art I we did a project whenever you would draw a line then make a picture around it. The line of the nose was the one that I started with then I saw that I could make a person out of. So then I just had this face with really big lips and nothing in front of it. It is hard to see but it is actually a faded Earth to show that what we need to help and fix is right in front of our faces like the painting. Its arcylic on board.

The Perfect Couple

I remember seeing one of the classes at school do something like this so I wanted to give it a try. It started out that I just was craving out circles in I thought it would be cool if I made it into people so thats how it came to be. Its again acrylic on cardboard.

Five Head Fish Face

This is actually me looking into a spoon. The way that I was sitting made me have a huge forehead and my eyes got really far apart. I thought it was a funny thing to look that and became more entertaining when I painted it. This is acrylic paint on board.

I want my rubber duck!

The picture is somewhat blurry but the words say "volo anaticulam cumminosam meam." This pharse is latin for "I want my rubber duck!"

Fading Cupboard

I wanted to make the actual objects look abstract and then make the outside very defined so that then I would have some strong contrast between the inside and outside.
This actually just made me think of a methapor to go along with it the outside of a person can be very put together but on the inside they could be fading between different things. Haha I have no clue where that came from but whatever.
Enjoy.
